CJ and I decided we'd like to have the boys' room bigger. They will be sharing a room for quite a few more years, at least - and so we both thought it'd be nice if they had a bigger room.
Right now, when you get to the top of the stairs, there's a small area, which used to be an office. (This was my grandparents' house and my grandfather had a desk and such in this area)
When we moved in, CJ and I ditched the desk and didn't use the area for anything really. Once Wyatt was born, we had the baby changing table in there and a rocking chair and I'd sit in there with him when he was a newborn and rock him in the middle of the night. Now that he's 2, he doesn't need me to do that anymore *sniff*

Our neighbor, Dave, is a contractor so we hired him to make the room bigger, using the area as part of the boys' room. In this picture, you can see another closet - this closet is going to be torn down:

Dave is here now and has already started this project. We hope it's only going to take a few days. It's going to be so nice for the boys and I'll be happy to see that space put to good use!
